Business Brain Food

What hasn’t Julian Mather done? Army sniper, international cameraman, professional speaker and now he empowers small business to film professional-quality videos using only their smart phones. It was great to talk to such a well-travelled man who has followed his heart and never taken the obvious route.

See some of Julian’s top tips below:

**  There’s a big difference between being taught something and learning something. There is more information out there than ever before, so utilise it!

**  Don’t be afraid to leave an industry at the top of your game. If you have a burning desire to do something else, follow your heart.

**  Everybody needs a coach. Human beings cannot see their own blind spots, but other people can.

**  Always have an exit plan for your business. That doesn’t mean you should quit tomorrow - it just means that you should focus your planning.

**  Don’t underestimate what your phone can do to shoot video. The power of computation is beginning to overtake the power of optical photography.

In this episode of Business Brain Food you will learn:

**  How to keep yourself fresh through learning

**  The difference between individualism and team play

**  The importance of video to modern business

**  How to simplify video

**  How Linkedin is prioritising video

**  How to overcome imposter syndrome
